- For Pakistani Freelancers, Agencies & Consultants
Get paid by local clients effortlessly
Freelancers in Pakistan get paid by local clients three ways: a bank transfer they have to chase, a wallet transfer to a personal number, or a proper invoice with a payment link. DeltaPay gives you the third a branded PKR invoice your client pays by Raast, card, JazzCash, easypaisa or bank transfer, settling to your Pakistani bank account on T+1.

How freelancers in Pakistan actually get paid
For local clients there are really only three options. A bank transfer you send account details and wait, with no confirmation until you check the app. A wallet transfer to your personal JazzCash or easypaisa number fast, but with no receipt, no record, and a client relationship that starts to look informal. Or an invoice with a payment link, where the client picks whatever method suits them and both of you get documentation.
The third gets paid fastest, and not because of the technology. It gets paid fastest because a numbered invoice with a due date and an automatic reminder is much harder to quietly postpone than a message asking for money.
Freelancer pain points solved
We built Delta Pay Gateway after watching hundreds of Pakistani freelancers wait weeks for payments that should land in minutes.
Designers & creatives
Logo, brand and UI projects billed in milestones advance on brief, balance on delivery, both as separate payment links.
Developers & IT consultants
Retainers and sprint-based invoicing on a recurring schedule, so the invoice goes out without you remembering to send it.
Marketers & agencies
Monthly management fees plus pass-through ad budgets, invoiced separately and reconciled without a spreadsheet.
Tutors & coaches
Per-month or per-batch tuition collected on a schedule, with reminders chasing the students who have not paid.
Photographers & videographers
Booking advances that lock the date, then a balance link on delivery no awkward conversation at the shoot.
Consultants & professionals
Hourly or project fees with a proper invoice trail, which matters the moment a corporate client needs paperwork for their own books.
“Send me your account number” vs a payment link
The same money, collected two ways. The difference shows up in how long it takes and what you can prove afterwards.

Four habits that get freelancers paid faster
Take an advance. A 30–50% advance before work starts is normal, not rude. It filters out clients who were never going to pay, and it means a slow payer costs you half as much.
Invoice the day you deliver. Every day between delivery and invoice is a day added to the client’s payment cycle, and it is the one delay entirely within your control.
Let the system chase. Automatic reminders on a schedule do the follow-up you keep postponing because it feels awkward and they arrive from a system, not from you, which keeps the relationship clean.
Give them every way to pay. A client who has to move money into a different app first will do it tomorrow. A client who can pay from the bank app already on their phone does it now. That single change is worth more than any reminder.
Freelancer payment FAQs
What Pakistani freelancers, agencies and consultants ask us most. Don’t see yours? Ask the team directly.
How do freelancers get paid in Pakistan?
For local clients, the practical options are a direct bank transfer, a wallet transfer to JazzCash or easypaisa, or an invoice with a payment link that accepts all of the above. The link approach is the only one that gives you a receipt, an audit trail and automatic reminders which is why it gets paid faster than the other two.
What does it cost to accept payments as a freelancer?
No setup fee and no monthly subscription only a merchant discount rate on money you actually receive: 2% on wallet payments and 2.5% on cards. If nobody pays you this month, you pay nothing. That matters when income is lumpy.
Do I need a registered company to use this?
No. Sole proprietors and individual freelancers can onboard with KYC CNIC, an NTN, and a bank account. You do not need to incorporate first. What you do need is to stop routing client money through a personal wallet number, which is exactly the problem this solves.dle them on your behalf.
Can I use this for international clients on Upwork or Fiverr?
DeltaPay Gateway is built for clients who pay you in PKR and settles into a Pakistani bank account. Earnings inside a marketplace like Upwork or Fiverr still come out through that platform’s own payout system. Where this helps is direct clients you invoice yourself including overseas clients paying by card rather than marketplace balances. If most of your income is direct, talk to sales about your specific setup.
How fast does the money reach my bank account?
T+1 the next working day after the payment settles. Your dashboard shows the payment immediately when the client pays, so you know the work is paid for before the money physically lands.
Can I take an advance and then bill the balance?
Yes, and you should. Issue the advance as its own invoice with its own link, deliver, then send the balance link. Both sit against the same client in your dashboard, so you can always see what a project has actually paid out.
Can I bill retainer clients automatically every month?
Yes. Set an invoice to recur monthly, quarterly or on a custom schedule and it sends itself, with reminders for the unpaid ones. For retainers and ongoing tuition this removes the single most common cause of late payment the freelancer forgetting to invoice.
Are the invoices GST-ready?
Invoices are branded, sequentially numbered and support tax line items, so they hold up when a corporate client needs proper documentation for their own books. That alone often shortens a client’s payment cycle, because their accounts team has what it needs on the first try.
What if a client disputes or I need to refund?
Refunds are initiated from your dashboard, full or partial, against the original invoice. Because every payment is tied to a numbered invoice and a client record, a dispute is a conversation about documents you already have rather than a search through chat history.
Do my clients need an account or an app to pay me?
No. They open the link, choose a method and pay. Raast works from their existing bank app with no signup; cards need no account at all; JazzCash and easypaisa only need the wallet they already have. Nothing to install on their side.
Can I send the invoice on WhatsApp?
Yes that is how most Pakistani freelancers actually send them. Copy the payment link into the chat where you are already talking to the client. They tap it, pay, and both of you get a receipt.
